Dairy Free Banana Coconut Ice Cream – 21dsd approved!
This is a super simple recipe for an ice cream treat that’s not only dairy free and gluten free, but also 21 day sugar detox approved! Plus no ice cream maker. Ice cream makers are great but sometimes we just need to keep things simple and quick. This is fast, easy and minimal clean up. Recipes this simple, make me very happy!
- 1 Frozen green-tipped banana (peel before freezing and store in a bag or glass dish. Frozen bananas are a pain to peel)
- 1/4 cup Organic Coconut Milk
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
Would also be great with tablespoon of unsweetened almond butter!
I usually chop the banana into large chunks especially if I’m making it in my Nutri Bullet, but not really a necessary step. Blend both ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth and freeze for 1-2 hours.
Top with unsweetened coconut flakes, cacao nibs or chopped nuts for an easy 21dsd treat!
